Fitness meets education

EuropeActive has attended today, January 25 2018, the 1st European Education Summit, dedicated to "laying the foundation of the European Education Area: for an innovative, inclusive and values based education".

The summit has been hosted by Tibor Navracsics, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport. Among the guests, speakers and presenters were several ministers from the member states, a.o. from France, Sweden, Hungary,Slovakia, Portugal, Spain.

EuropeActive is working since several years on improving the European workforce for the European fitness sector through education. Two EU-funded projects coordinated by EuropeActive are dedicated to improve skills development for fitness professionals to assure quality and professionalism.
